1. As with last month we have discovered a new bug. This time it is the female Tree Weta, distinguishable from the male by the spike at the back of her body - again she is not harmful the spike is for laying eggs rather than stings. This beauty was in the post box and dropped down when I put my hand in to get the post....
2. The moon rises is almost the same place as the sun. I just thought it was a really beautiful sight, the moon rising over the mountains and reflecting over the water with all the lights in Eastbourne twinkling.
3. Just as in the UK the Wispa bar is having a bit of a revival... you can't get them in the normal shops but there are a few shops that sell british items - jaffa cakes, walkers crisps, robinsons fruit and barley.... you know, the essentials for us whingeing poms :) to put the prices in perspective a bottle of Robinsons Fruit and Barley costs $12.50 - about £5!!!
