As promised here are some pics of the camper - after we had tidied it up, cleaned it and fitted the new curtains. The chap who sold it to us didn't realise there was a sun awning still in it :)
We decided to make sure it all works and so took it for a trip over to Castlepoint Lighthouse where there is a campsite - it was about a 3 hour drive and was pretty uneventful apart from one of the headlamps falling out whilst going over the Rimutaka's (big mountain range). As expected though Steve was able to do a quick fix and we were soon on our way again.

This is the crockery cupboard that Steve has improved in an effort to ensure that things don't rattle too much as we drive - the knife rack stuck to the top of the cupboard is a really good idea.

Castlepoint was very hot but cloudy and windy at the same time - a weird combination but is about what we've come to expect from NZ! We took a walk up to the lighthouse in the morning...
But were slightly concerned by these signs on the way...

Should we be worried???
