The arrival of Jeff & Crowded House

In January Steve's friend Jeff paid us a visit from the UK, Steve prepared the fridge...

As the weather was beautiful - good summer this year - we took a trip down to Lyall bay for some Kiwi sized iced creams:

We also decided to take a trip away to Martinborough for the weekend. Crowded House were playing at Alana Vineyard so we took Suzy Camper and our awning and did a little bit of camping....

a little bit of wine tasting at some of the other vineyards...

and then a little bit of drinking at the concert, it was a lovely evening, not sunny but really warm... although that might have had something to do with the amount of wine consumed :)

 Time for a bit of a snooze in the evening... for some...

...and some picnicing for the rest of us. We met up with some friends from Wellington... er... we didn't drink all that wine between five of us...

...although that would explain Steve's dancing...

The band were great, I had forgotten how much I liked Crowded House (when I came home I bought Recurring Dream) It was a really chilled out atmosphere.

Followed by the rest of us doing some crazy dancing.

All in, another fantastic weekend had by all :D
